Robin Hood Review

Class 7 delighted us with their performance of the classic tale of Robin Hood, his lovely companion, Maid Marion, and his many Merry Men.

Before our eyes we saw them leap up time and again to defend the poor and disadvantaged against a series of villainous overlords and bullies and we applauded their courage, their wit, their ability to celebrate and feast (the secret of the large leg of lamb being a real one snatched by a keen Merry Man from the family’s home freezer was revealed to me in a whispered, slightly shocking aside!) – and their excellent singing and music-making.

A joyful working together of the class, their teacher Jonathan and music teacher Sandi provided us with a wonderful half hour of fun and pleasure.
