Old Scholars – The Gill-Taylors

Isobel Gill-Taylor lives in Bristol and works as a Family Psychotherapist in Salisbury and
Bristol. She recently married Greg, a Drama teacher, and hopes to start a family. Her original
degree was in Steiner Education at Plymouth University, and she then went on to do a
master’s in Therapeutic Education at Ruskin Mill. After several years at Ruskin Mill, she moved
to Bristol Social Services to work with at-risk teenagers. Next to her work, she completed
her second master’s degree in Family Psychotherapy at the Tavistock in London. Izzy loves
jewellery making, reading and keeping fit.

Maya Gill-Taylor teaches Biology and Chemistry at Trafalgar School, Downton. Her original
degree was in Ocean Sciences, and she completed a master’s degree at the National
Oceanographic Centre and teacher training in Southampton. She has been a teacher in
Bangor, North Wales, for the last five years and has just moved to Downton to be closer to
home. Maya enjoys making beautiful gifts from sea glass and journalling.

Tarra Gill-Taylor is in his final year of Medicine at Manchester University. His original degree
was in Biology at Exeter University, and after a year as a Health Care Assistant, he decided to
study Medicine. Tarra still loves sailing and keeping fit.

Milo Gill-Taylor has just finished four years at Cambridge University, graduating with a First
class degree and First Class with Distinction master’s degree in Astrophysics. He plans to
save money to travel before deciding what to do next. Milo is passionate about all sports,
particularly rugby and cricket – and always reading to improve his knowledge.
