Spring Flowers in our Wildflower Meadow

June is here, and the wildflower meadow Class 6 planted in partnership with Friends of the Earth’s ‘Bee Cause’ campaign, is starting to blossom.  Do go to our School Garden and have a look if you get a moment.  It’s quite modest, but rather beautiful. Our aim of attracting bees and butterflies is beginning to be realised.  A number of our busy friends have been spotted on the meadow.  A large amount of horsetail has made it’s way there too, so we are hoping there is room for all!

These pictures give you an idea of what is currently flowering out there:

Visit http://friendsoftheearth.uk/bees for more information on the campaign to reverse the decline in the UK’s bee population, which this meadow is a part of.
