Happy Birthday to Us!!

Happy Birthday everyone!

Last Sunday, on 16th September, the school turned 44! Incredible to think that the school was founded in 1974 by Christine Polyblank, who is very much still part of our school community.

Here’s a photo of her with her first class in Folly Farm Lane and you can find out more about the pupils’ personal journeys in the Old Scholars stories on this site…

Always Evolving

The school has changed a lot since then and of course, it’s still evolving. Keir Polyblank (Christine’s husband) the architect who designed the main school buildings is currently working on the new science lab which should be finished later this term. If you’d like to help him finish it, basic skills like painting wood, walls and ceilings are welcome – please volunteer at the school office!

We’ve lots to celebrate and look forward to together, so happy birthday everyone! And an extra special wish for both Christine and Keir.
