Gallery: Class 5 Celebrates Diwali
Diwali – Festival of Light
There are many ways around the world to celebrate the changing seasons and time of year. Diwali is the Indian Festival of Light and, as Class 5 are studying Asian cultures in their main lesson, it seems appropriate that they create and experience this traditional festival too.
Marika and Class 5 families celebrated DIWALI, Indian Festival of Light last Friday with dancing, colourful costumes and delicious Indian food and chai. A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all!
