Gallery: Building Work Progress

[foogallery id=”5842″]

You may have noticed the building work going on at the edge of the school field opposite the Lantern. It’s phase 1 of the new Upper School buildings designed by Keir Polyblank (of Keir Hall fame – he designed the original school buildings we all know and love).

The work is being done by Honeywell Builders – led by John and his son. They are currently building the new Science block, so hopefully Eli won’t have too long to wait for a new setting to conduct his classes.

Getting the foundations in was slow progress due to weeks of wet weather, but since the weather has been kinder, good progress is being made.
