Farewell to friends… Carole Broughton

Carole Broughton

As a school, we were sad to say goodbye to Carole Broughton, who was Willow Kindergarten teacher from 2005 to 2012. Prior to this, Carole was Kindergarten assistant to Kathy Bean while she did her Kindergarten teacher training.

Carole has been involved with our school for over 20 years as a committed parent and her 7 children all attended at various times, including Grace who left Class 10 last year.  Carole and Jim came to RWS as they were searching for a community working out of Anthroposophy. She recently said “A school like ours really needs the support of parents to continue into the future.”  She also feels that she has not left school, as she is hoping to join in and support RWS when there is the opportunity.

Carole was a dedicated teacher, much loved by her colleagues and Kindergarten children. We wish Carole a peaceful and enjoyable rest, and thank her for all her hard work over the years.  We look forward to seeing her again soon!
