Brass Banding Success!

Students from Ringwood Waldorf School win Brass Band Trophy from the Wessex Brass Band Association

Youth and Training Band Festival

The Wessex Brass Band Association held its Youth and Training Band Festival on 27th January 2018. Seven bands participated. The judge was a player from the no 1 brass band in the world. Six members of the school community were involved, in two of the bands.

The New Forest Training Band – including Lynette Baskett – won 4 awards.

And Verwood Training Band and Verwood Youth Band – including;

  • Lucy Thom
  • Holly Iggulden
  • Finlay Johnson
  • Ben Yorke
  • Oliver Yorke

(pictured above) won 8 awards.

Well done all those players!
