Autumn Holiday Club News

Ringwood Waldorf School Autumn Holiday Club 2022

24th to 28th October

Our Autumn Holiday Club is about to start. We are looking forward to welcoming the children from tomorrow. The days start at 8.30 and are full of exciting activities. Autumn and Halloween arts and crafts and handwork sessions led by teachers and pupils from classes in Eight, Eleven and Twelve. We will be playing and exploring outdoors, going on walks, getting creative and staying active with new and old friends. The programme includes lots of creative activities and free play.

Mellow Monday and Thrilling Tuesday

Bakers: Fancy some seasonal baking? Join right in and take some yummy treats home to share with your family.
Makers: Need a bag for your conkers or your apple picking? Get creative and stitch your own. Or create your own seasonal wall hanging.
Players: Games inside and out, bats, balls, running about, never a dull moment…
High Flyers:  Autumn winds are calling all young engineers – our seasonal Paper Aeroplane Olympics is on – design, fold, fly – expert guidance given – no previous experience necessary.
And finally… Did you know that it is Diwali, the festival of light, this Monday? Make your own little candle holder to light up your evening tonight.

Seasonal Activities on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Autumn and Halloween arts and crafts and handwork sessions

Paint & Collage Box Scenes and Seasonal Woodland Figure Sculptures
Autumn/winter night pictures with collage and paint, using various materials. Create mixed media scenes to make seasonal decorations and mini theatre sets for our woodland figure sculptures. The seasonal woodland figures will be able to stand up on their own. We’ll be using wool and felt, autumn leaves and fabric.

Autumn Wreaths and Mandalas
Come and enjoy days of making seasonal crafts using autumn leaves, assembling autumn wreaths, mandalas, and window stars, and creating your own Halloween scene.

Programme, Timings and Cost
The Autumn Holiday Club runs from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15.30. Shorter days are available between 08:30 and 13:30.
Costs are £32 for a single day and £25 for a short day, with discounts for whole-week bookings.

To book more sessions, please go to our Booking Page.  Please be aware of the following:

Don’t forget to send the children with appropriate clothing, including wet weather gear. Some activities will involve playing outdoors.

Snacks and packed lunches are required. Our experience shows that the children are often very hungry after activities and need plenty of food and snacks, especially on long days.

The Club is a nut-free zone. Please do not send any food containing nut products; we have some children with severe allergies. We also have children with allergies to kiwi, dairy and egg products. We will ensure they have a separate eating area, but a limitation of these items would be welcome. You can contact the school on 01425 472664 or go to the Booking Page
