If you’re looking for something great to do for your children this summer, try our August Summer Holiday Club.

We’re providing a healthy, entertaining holiday club with lots to do for 6-12 year olds. Instead of losing hours of the holidays indoors on their mobile phones or tablets, or playing electronic games, we’ll keep them playing outdoors, keeping healthy getting creative and meeting new friends. They’ll be enjoying themselves, learning something new and building confidence in their new found skills. All our programmes are non-competitive and children are encouraged to work and play together in all activities.

We keep our numbers small – a maximum of 25 children per session – to ensure all children attending the club get the care and attention they deserve.

Please book early to make sure your child gets a place.

Programme and Timings

The August Summer Holiday Club runs from Monday to Friday for 2 weeks, from 10am to 4pm. This is our ‘Core Programme’, so see below for the huge range of activities your children will be able to join in with.

We also provide early bird and late leaver sessions to help fit in with office hours if you’re working – from 8.15am to 5.45pm. They’ll be able to join in with a variety of games, crafts, story times and free play during these sessions.

If you need further information about any activities, please get in touch here clubs@ringwoodwaldorfschool.org.uk. We try to keep our activities outdoors whatever the weather but indoor alternatives are planned in case this is not possible.

Our club leaders

The August Summer Holiday Club is run by Waldorf-Steiner trained teachers and other approved experts to ensure that your children have the best experience possible. Activities are of the highest standards within a nurturing environment and reflect our school ethos.

We have teamed up with the experts from Jambalaya Juggling to provide professional quality circus skills workshops, and with the fabulous Fresh Air Club for unique bushcraft workshops. Meanwhile, our own creative and experienced staff are running Theatre, Craft, Games and other outdoor sessions.

We are all committed to safeguarding your children and have a qualified first aider at hand at all times.

Location & Facilities

August Summer Holiday Club is at Ringwood Waldorf School – we use one of the purpose-built light and airy classrooms for our base and have the adjoining school garden to play in. We can be really flexible within the spaces we have, providing your children with lots of fun activities both indoors or outdoors, whatever the weather.
