The Travelling Players Return This January with Pinocchio

Sunday 11th January 2026 at 2pm

We are delighted to welcome The Travelling Players back to our school theatre this January. We cannot wait to see them return.

Following last year’s much-loved production of A Christmas Carol, they are back with another joyful and adventurous show. This time, they bring us the timeless tale of Pinocchio — the story of a wooden marionette who longs to become a real boy.

Pinocchio’s nose grows with every little fib. He is curious, stubborn, and easily led. Along the way, he meets a rascally fox and cat, flies on the back of a pigeon, and is swallowed by a giant shark. He even waits for gold coins to grow on a vine. Each moment adds to a journey filled with humour, danger and heart. Above all, the question remains — will he ever become a real boy?

Expect live action, original music, puppetry, surprises and plenty of laughter. It promises to be a truly unforgettable theatre experience for the whole family.

This production is a co-production between Forest Forge Theatre Company, Mischievous Theatre and Bumblefly Theatre Company. The tour is supported by Arts Council England.

We are very much looking forward to another magical afternoon of theatre at Ringwood Waldorf School.
