Child Protection and Safeguarding

At Ringwood Waldorf School we know that children learn best when they are healthy, safe and secure, when their individual needs are met, and when they have positive relationships with the adults caring for them. All staff and trustees are committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of our pupils and have all received training in child protection and are aware of the policies and procedure for passing on welfare concerns within the school. The children know that they can go to any adult in the school with concerns they may have and know that they will be given the time to be heard.

Our safeguarding and child protection policies are updated annually in line with statutory government guidance. Everyone has a responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and for ensuring they are protected from harm.
