Each year, our school community comes together to host one of the most anticipated events in the school calendar — the Ringwood Waldorf School Christmas Fayre.
The Fayre is a celebration of creativity, community, and the festive season. Planned months in advance, it is a true whole-school effort. Every class takes part, with parents and teachers working together to prepare activities, food and decorations that make the day so special.
Visitors can enjoy a vibrant artisan market filled with handcrafted gifts, seasonal produce and unique treasures made by local makers — perfect for thoughtful and sustainable Christmas shopping.
Children can take part in traditional Waldorf crafts such as candle dipping, visit the Gnome Garden, or create something to take home. There is also the popular ‘Gifts for Parents’ shop that only children can enter. Throughout the day, the school is filled with live music, carol singing and the welcoming atmosphere our school is known for.
Homemade cakes, waffles, and vegetarian lunches are served in our café, where families and friends can sit together and enjoy a well-earned rest. The day concludes with our Great Christmas Raffle, with wonderful prizes for all ages.
The Christmas Fayre is more than a fundraising event — it’s a reflection of the shared spirit that runs through the school, bringing together students, parents, staff and friends to create something truly special.
