Achieving Together, ERASMUS +

2014 - 2017

Erasmus_logo_leftFunded by the European Education Programme ERASMUS+, we have now started the activities for our international project ‘Achieving Together’. ERASMUS+ is a project similar to Comenius whereby pupils from European schools exchange with our pupils. There will be opportunities for our pupils to visit schools abroad.
As part of this project, Ringwood Waldorf School has invited pupils and teachers from our partner schools across Europe to take part in an international workshop from 8th to 14th February, right here at our school. Together with some of our own pupils, our guests will engage in school based workshops, trips to London and Stonehenge, and fundraising for charities of their own choosing. There will be a final evening together where everyone can join in with entertainment, singing and jollification!
We are looking for willing volunteers to help with minibus driving from school to Avon Tyrell (where the students will be staying for the week), cooking meals and snacks, serving food, clearing up, cleaning at school for the week between Sunday 8th February - Saturday 14th February.
If you can help in any way and have even a small amount of time during the Erasmus week, please come and see Geli, Louise or Liz in the office.

The Erasmus Programme is a European Union student exchange programme established in 1987. Erasmus+, or Erasmus Plus, is the new programme combining all the EU's current schemes for education, training.
