The role of a trustee is a rewarding one but at the same time requires dedication, commitment and the willingness to carry responsibility. The trustees work closely with The School Management Team, and the rest of the community, to achieve a school that will not only provide an excellent education for its pupils but will also provide an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Waldorf Class One Teacher (starting August 2026)

The Position

Ringwood Waldorf School is seeking an inspiring and progressive Steiner Waldorf Class One Teacher to join our experienced and creative team.

Full time, permanent.

Salary: £28,783 – £30,222

Job Specifications

Role Profile Class Teacher

The class teacher will be responsible for a group of up to 25 children, inspiring and guiding them through the Steiner Waldorf curriculum. They will teach the Main Lesson, delivering age-appropriate, engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. With enthusiasm and care, the teacher will support each child’s academic progress and personal growth, encouraging confidence and independence.

Working closely with specialist subject teachers, the class teacher is the first point of contact for both academic and pastoral matters and will contribute actively to the collaborative life of the Lower and Middle School.
