Class 7’s Midsummer Night’s Dream

This, too, was performed at the very end of the term – a hugely enjoyable performance of a modern take on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The students chose the play and their own parts – the two feisty female roles being shared between four girls over the two performances. They designed the backdrop and made their fairy wings. Benjy and Ed wrote much of the music while Megan and Maya wrote and performed the Forest Song.  They all wish to give a huge thanks to Sandi who helped in every way possible with the whole play, and to parent Suzanne Harvey for help with voice training. And it must be said that they spoke out beautifully, also that we could experience the close working together of this class as they brought the charmingly comical scenes to life for us. Well done Class 7!
