My name is Johannes March-Ludick, and I graduated from Ringwood Waldorf School in 2014/15. I went on to study Material Science and Engineering (BEng) at Loughborough University, graduating in 2023. Currently, I live and work in London within the oil and gas trading industry, and in 2025, I will be attending the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
The Waldorf education I received at Ringwood Waldorf School instilled in me a profound curiosity about the world. One of the most defining experiences of my life was a self-supported cycling journey along the Silk Road, spanning 15,000 km across 15 countries, from Shanghai to London. The emphasis on ancient cultures and history at Ringwood Waldorf School enriched this experience, as I often felt I was retracing the paths of the adventurers and stories we studied.
Ringwood Waldorf School also encouraged me to explore my interests and passions, giving me the confidence to take on unique challenges. The spirit of adventure fostered at the school—whether through canoeing trips or Erasmus exchanges—left a lasting impression. I also value the friendships formed in the close-knit environment, which continue to shape my life today. I am truly grateful for the foundation Ringwood Waldorf School provided, which continues to guide both my professional and personal life.
