If you would like to visit the school, we hold two or three Introductory Mornings or Open Evenings each term and an Open Day each May - please phone the office to book on - 01425 472 664.
Attending one of these introductory tours is an essential part of the admissions process towards joining the Ringwood Waldorf School.
These begin with registration in the office at 9.15 am for a 9.30 start, and finish around mid-day. After a tour of the classrooms, during which you will be able to see the children at work, there will be refreshments, and then a talk about the education and curriculum with an opportunity to ask questions.
Please note, these mornings are not suitable for young children or babies, as they are too long for them, which means that you may miss important information if you have to take them out of the tour or talk. Obviously we understand you'd like your children to get a feel for the school too - please phone the school office to arrange this in advance.
These are from 6-8pm and offer an opportunity to meet staff, find out more about Steiner Education, look around the school and ask any questions you may have.
Open Day (May Festival)
A wonderful opportunity to visit the classrooms, view the children’s work and speak to the teachers about Waldorf Education. All the classrooms in the lower, middle and upper school will be open.
The Kindergartens will also be open for you to experience and enjoy this special place for our very young children. The Kindergarten teachers will be on hand to talk to parents and you may wish to join in a simple craft activity.
There will also be guided tours by our Administrative Staff throughout the morning and a talk in Keir Hall by a Class Teacher. Children will perform music and maypole dancing in the courtyard outside and refreshments will be available during the morning. All ages welcome!
Please fill in the form below if you would like to book or find out more information about our Introductory Mornings, Open Evenings and Open Day.
We look forward to hearing from you.
