-- OFSTED REPORT - A ‘GOOD’ STEINER SCHOOL --

Ringwood Waldorf School is a good school! According to Ofsted, who inspected the school at the beginning of April 2019, children at our school are well cared for, make good progress and are enthusiastic, attentive and motivated learners. The full report can be read under 'our school'. The school celebrated with a community dance and tea party in May, with all students, teachers and parents enjoying a cream tea and celebratory dance in the school courtyard! Why not come and visit us on one of our Introductory Mornings? Or join us at a community event, such as our Summer Fayre in June!

_____

Our school, founded in 1974, is one of 33 Steiner Waldorf schools throughout the UK and Ireland. Ringwood Waldorf School stands on the Hampshire-Dorset border, close to the River Avon and the beautiful New Forest.

We have Parent and Child groups (children from 6 months), Kindergartens (from 3 to 6 years), Lower and Middle School from (6 to 14 years) and Upper School (from 14 years).

We are proud to be part of the fastest growing alternative education system in the world. Tried and tested for nearly a century, the Steiner Waldorf curriculum is designed to work in harmony with the different phases of each child's development, balancing their physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs.

Our next Open Morning is Saturday, 12th October 10am - 12 noon. Everyone is warmly invited to visit the school, no booking required. If you wish to learn more about our admissions procedures please complete the Admission Enquiry form, or alternatively, you can call the School Office. Tel: 01425 472664

Welcome

When children relate what they learn to their own experience, they are interested and alive, and what they learn becomes their own. Waldorf schools are designed to foster this kind of learning.

Our Community

For parents, carers, teachers and our extended community - events, choirs, crafts, painting, walking, gardening, parent groups & programs.

Ringwood Waldorf School is a learning community comprised of teachers, support staff, pupils, parents and friends who associate and cooperate together primarily for the education of the children, but also for their own support and development.

The process of admission therefore is that of 'joining a learning community' rather than sending a child to the school. The primary criterion for admission is 'connection' with the ethos and character of the education.
